CONSTRUCTION OF THE SECOND STAGE OF A SOLAR POWER PLANT FOR GREEN ELECTRICITY PRODUCTION

As part of the company’s ongoing environmental initiatives, the second phase of solar power plant construction has been successfully completed. The project was implemented in collaboration with the ALTUM Development and Finance Institute, which received financial support.

The total area of ​​the new solar power park is 2750 m2, on which 1244 solar panels are installed. The total capacity of the new solar power plant is 0.55 MWh, which will provide an average of 13% of the company’s total annual electricity consumption and up to 26% in the summer period.

With the completion of this project, both phases of the two parks have been combined into a single solar power plant with a total capacity of 1.00 MWh, which will provide approximately 23% of the company’s total annual electricity consumption, reaching 51% during the summer season.

Thanks to the new solar park (0.55 MWh), the company will be able to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 66,000 tonnes of CO2 per year, bringing the total reduction to 116,000 tonnes of CO2 per year. This step will significantly reduce fossil fuel consumption and expand the use of green energy solutions and opportunities.
